Floor jack repair

I’ve found a lot of info on repairs for hydraulic floor jacks but no info on a very slow decline under load. Thought I had ghost in my garage when I jacked up my car then turned around to install the jack stands and the car was too low
Yes I did check the hydraulic fluid. It’s a 3 ton Torin jack I bought new about 15 years ago Is it worth fixing and where to get parts?

I'd say it's borderline worth repairing. If it was an antique, or had sentimental value, then absolutely. But it's a basic middle of the road jack. If it's worth repairing depends on what your times worth. If you enjoy the time spent fixing it go for it, but if you would rather be using it to fix something else then...

You have a leak through the seals. Been there and done that with craftsman floor jacks. Can be a royal pain if its made in china piston. They will use whatever size (aka unknown) laying around to make the run of hydraulics.
I ended up fixing my "vintage" 90's craftsman by going to a hydraulics shop and spending 20 min with them to find a couple close fits. They didn't charge me, I left $10 on the bench for them.
Don't like throwing out tools. peeves me off.
Thats how I got a hein-werner for free - it was being thrown out as it needed to be rebuilt. sheeze.

I'll have to give that a try. I have an old one that I was about to put jack oil with sealer in. That is what I usually use.
