Hi all, was hoping for some advice. I have an older Walker and Snap on ya 700 jack that both need rebuilt. I was wondering if you guys recommend any shops? I would tackle this myself but I have more pressing projects.

The only local to me (Chicago) shop I've found that rebuilds them is J&R Hydraulic. They rebuilt the Walker 4 times over the years and it always ends up having the same problem shortly after (takes forever to pump up and lift.)

I found one shop so far that I can ship the pump to. Theserviceco.net (Nevada). Any reviews?

Any others you recommend?
Thanks in advance
Adam

I just had a Hein Werner jack rebuilt. I took mine apart and took the cylinder off. I dropped it off at a farm store and two weeks later I had a rebuilt cylinder for $95. They also rebuilt one of the main hydraulic cylinders on my bobcat Skidsteer a few years ago for $105.00. I would suggest you contact ZK diesel on this forum. I bet he knows someone in the Chicago area. . After all it’s just a hydraulic cylinder.
