Floor Jack Storage on engine hoist

Hope the picture loads, if not I'll go back to the drawing board and try again. Anyway, got tired of tripping over my two floor jacks the other day and thought "there's got to be a better way". Since I had a engine hoist folded up against the wall taking up space anyway I decided to weld to "j" hooks to the bottom of each leg of the hoist. This allows me to hang each floor jack by their front axle off the hoist leg, I put a small piece of steel strap under the bottom of each jack to help stabilze them and voila' they are up and out of the way but easily accessable when I want them. Most of the jack weight is carried by the piece of ******** the bottom, the "j" hook just keeps the jack upright and in position.

That looks like a good solution to a space problem. I know I wouldn't want to have to lift them down frequently. It sure frees up floor space though.

Haven't had any issues with storing them on end for over a year. It does, however, make moving the engine hoist a little more daunting. I don't use them often but when I do you have to be very careful lifting them on and off, they would really do a number on your toes if you drop one. The picture doesn't show it but the jack handles store neatly right behind the legs of the hoist.
