Floor Jack will not pump up under a load

The floor jack, over sea model, pumps up fine without a load. It raise up and down without any issues, but under load, the floor jack will not raise.
There is fluid in the reservoir.
Can there be water or moister in the reservoir that is not allowing the hydraulic hold up under a load?
thanks

No expert here, but either the piston seals are toast, over pressure safety valve is faulty or the bleeder valve is not closing entirely.

The first thing to do often solves the problem entirely. Change the fluid.
BTW the way to put medium-grade non-foaming hydraulic fluid into a tank through a small hole is with a pump-style oil can. Don't monkey around with a funnel.

If changing the fluid doesn't work, take it apart, replace whatever common cheap parts need replacing, and put it back together. The jack might never work again but you will have learned something which in the end will be worth more than an Asian floor jack.

Start with the simple stuff first. Bleed it. Most manufactures have directions on their website on how to do this. Check YouTube as well.

And yes, use a pump style oil can filled with jack oil to fill the reservoir.
