We installed a small test section first as the rest of the shop is moved around and not set-up. The square tile fits and looks great, but the edging or corners don't line up.

Did I get a bad lot of edges & corners, or is this normal?

Honestly, Jeff, Some of those edge pieces look like they were cut too short and have some elevation fluctuation.

I would email FJ with those pictures and request that they send you a few replacements for the ones that are defunct.

Unfortunately there is no way to email them pictures.

I only ordered one pack of edges as I could re-use them along the shop door edge when the time came.

I'm glad I only have $100 in this test. I'm not happy with GJ at all, but I'm limited on my budget and will have to continue with them. I wish I could afford Race Deck tiles.

And before ANYONE says it, let me say it first...I TOLD YOU SO.

You know Jeff, I was actually going to go with garagejunkies at first.

I priced out my total order with them.

I then called Racedeck, priced out my order with them using the GJ discount.

Racedeck was only 157.00 more for my total order on my 2 car garage.

Keep in mind, racedeck is just the brand I went with. I know Justin with GarageflooringLLC posts in here A LOT and he is a legit guy as well. Obtain samples from both companies, talk pricing with them... see if they will work something out???

Either way, I would have went with garageflooringLLC or Racedeck. The reason being is... I see them post on here constantly and rectify any dissatisfaction issues immediately. That was important to me and it kind of sounds like it is important to you to

Keep the extra tiles as target practice tiles :bigun2: :uzi:

Whatever you do, good luck and I hope you will be happy with the end result ;)

If the difference of my quotes was that small I would have went with Race Deck as well.

My breakdown:

300 sq.ft.

Floor Junkies $1.98/tile, $594, shipped.
Race Deck $3.39/tile, $1017, plus shipping.

$423 difference, too big to ignore. Especially when shipping is a consideration.

Talk to Justin, if you are unhappy with how the section you have now is looking, just think how much you will be regretting having the whole floor done that way, over the years to come. Pay a little more and get a good quality product from Justin or Racedeck.

Ohh... I was quoted 2.49 per tile from floorjunkies.

Since it looks like the border is an issue... Call them and work something out. The border isn't usually that expensive.
