Do you advise only using cast floor locks for heavy (1,000lb+) wheeled cabinets and carts?

I am considering purchase of a floor lock for a 59” height Vidmar cabinet I am prepping for use. The cabinet will have a full footprint ¼” steel plate base w/ 5” casters. I am not committed to installing a floor lock. However, I have other, very heavy rolling cabinets with floor locks, and I appreciate having them installed. I want to finish drilling the ¼” plate; installing; and getting the cabinet upright, so I need to make a decision on the floor lock soon.

Cast floor locks for 5” casters are not common. If I install a floor lock, I will either shim for a cast 4” caster floor lock; use an adjustable, Vestil cast unit; or use a stamped unit. I suspect the adjustable Vestil cast unit is not as strong as a non-adjustable, but am uncertain if it matters much.
