Had plastic bags of top spoil on previously shiny epoxy dark flake garage floor for several months. Now have 2'x3' white imprints & no shine where bags were. Can I touch up areas with a clear coat? Not sure if previous clear coat water or urethane based.

Does not seem to be from the clear bag material. Cleaning hasn't helped.

You need to find out the type of product that was applied then help can be given. If it was a solvent based acrylic or water based then it can be fixed. Urethanes are bit more tricky.

Also, try a xylene wipe. Scrub it a bit. This will tell you if it was solvent based and also will let you know if it is just topical. gene

Try denatured alcohol. This is sounding like a water based acrylic. They do this often if moisture is not allowed to escape. The xylene should have made the sealer sticky if it was a solvent based product. gene
