I have 3 stairwells that need a refreshing and they are slate grey but are starting to show wear where people have been walking..

I was curious what's the best paint to put down on the floor?

Did you put down the slate gray paint and now want something different because it's not as durable as you hoped? And are they wood or metal steps? How much foot traffic is there?

I put down Behr Porch and Patio Floor paint on my steps and on stem wall. It cleans up easily, but I can't say much about durability on steps because I also have some rubber treads for grip.

I just read a post asking about Rust-Oleum Safety Coat Plus...that might be something to consider.

Any paint that is directly walked on it going to be worn down. Even floor paint can't hold up to foot traffic forever. I would paint with an exterior latex and use some sort of rubber tread.
