I have an older house. The entry way has some small ceramic tiles. A few are busted. I bought some Simple Prep brand of floor patch as recommended at Home Depot. The plan was to remove the broken tiles & fill the void area in with the patch cement & then cover it with stick on tiles. The directions say 4 hours drying time. It's now been 8 hours & it's not dry. Am I doing something wrong? should I put a fan on it?

Here's a link to what I'm using. http://www.custombuildingproducts.c...prep/premixedfloorpatch.aspx?user=pro&lang=en

Did you stir it well with a drill before you placed it? If not then the wetting agents rise to the top and you have too high of a concentration. You might remove it and mix then start over.

Fans usually cause mud cracking, or shrinkage cracks.
