I am at the stage where I am needing to take care of the floor and was wondering if I could get some of you to post some pictures of your finished floors. I havent decided on epoxy, stain, or vct yet. I dont have the budget for the racedeck style tiles. I am interested in seeing what different colors look like and different colors and patterns in vct look like. Thanks

gregs,

Here's a shot of an epoxy coated floor. Picture was taken just after I finished putting it down. Very durable, cleans easy. I drag a floor jack around on it with no problems. The brand I used was Epoxy-Coat. Do a search on this board and you'll find a full write up that I did on it.

NICE LOOKING FLOOR.....

If the floor in my second garage had a nice smooth finish I would probably go the epoxy route...

My local Mazda dealer was going to pitch it so I offered to find it a good home. It must have been some sort of promo thing that Mazda Canada sent out to them.

I have never seen that particular photo for sale commercially - sorry.

The photo on the left of the AWR Racing MX-5 is available.

If you do the VCT floor. I suggest you check were your tires comes to rest as the white does react with the tires (rubber) and will leave a stain over time. I wish I would have done 2 sqare feet of black instead of just one square foot.

Here is a shot of one of the floors I did for a client. Primer, 2 coats of 100% epoxy, flake, and top coated with urethane for wear , and chemical resistance.

There are 3 things that make a floor look good and last a long time.

1. Prep, Prep, Prep, I shotblast, as that is the BEST method.
2. Quality materials 100% solids are the best.
3. Using a proven method of application.

Obviously one is before and one is after
