I bought a gallon of 31% mix of muratic acid to clean our back concrete porch. I read to mix about 15parts water to 1 part acid to scrub the surface. There is no need to etch this surface as it has a nice fine etching put in the surface by the contractor when poured. My problem is my wife in my absence did not mix it as requested and used the acid full strength. I was able to rinse it with hose water with-in about 15 mins, but do not know how to proceed from here. Should I use some type of acid neutralizer like baking soda on it or is the acid thanks dave

The damage is done. However, I would neutralize with (1) cup baking soda to (1) gallon water. Work it over with a bristle broom and rinse.

Again, you may have gotten all off by now but it couldn't hurt.

Good news it's ready for about 3 coats of nice acrylic sealer!!
