Floor prep at slab edge and curb

I'm ready to start prep for my new legacy floor, and have had a lot of questions answered through the forum and through Scotty. I'm going to use a dimabrush bit to prep the majority of the floor, but I am concerned with the edges and curb where the buffer won't reach. I know legacy sells the dimabrush head for a 6" grinder, however Id like to avoid purhasing one as it's a significant cost, especially since the edges and curb see little, if any, wear and tear. My curb currently has paint overspray, and is pitted and rough. I don't care about it being finished smooth as much as I just want the contaminants and paint off prior to primer. Should I acid etch, or use a grinder? If a grinder, what kind of wheel? Wire? Diamond?

Thanks!

Four:

A diamond cup wheel can be employed. The better units have more segments.
Be careful as they tend to "kiss" the concrete, leaving marks behind which in some cases the coating may not hide.
