I finished diamond grinding my floor (thanks motodave for the grinder) and have sweep it out, and used my shop vac to go over it. Do I need to pressure wash it before I coat, how do I tell if it is clean enough?

BondTite 1101 primer, or pretty much any other coating, should be in direct contact with the concrete, not any dust, so you need to do what's necessary to clear out any residual concrete dust left over from the grinding process. Some grinders come with very efficient and powerful vacuums, made by Ruwac and others, these run $2,000 or more, most home shop vac don't come close to their ability. Since it is concrete dust it can be difficult to see whether or not it's even there, so if there's any doubt I'd go ahead and pressure rinse the floor.

A good thing about BT1101 is that the floor does not need to be bone dry before coating, there certainly shouldn't be any standing water, and I usually wait until some of the floor has lightened up.

Fred - thanks for the help, my main main worry was getting the floor 100% dry before I put down the bondtite, so that clears up that issue.
