Hello all,
Over the weekend, I did "step 1" of my epoxy floor project: Scraping.
My new build had some splotches of dry-wall mud (paste) on the garage floor.
I took a scrapper to remove it. The dried up paste was easy to come off, but I have two questions:
1. After scrapping, you can still tell where the dried up paste has been.
Would you do anything else to this, or just scrub with brush and degreaser when generally cleaning the floor?
2. During scraping, I noticed it was very easy for the concrete floor to powder and dust. The floor is ~9 months old, and I've heard that new concrete does dust a lot.
Any special steps during cleaning? I plan on degreasing, power washing, and then etching.
Thank you,
Mikhal
