Floor Prep Tool Question

I've ordered an Epoxy system and will be doing my floor prep shortly. Hoping to get a few questions answered:

-Can I prep my floor say 1 week in advance? I will make sure to park the floor outside after prepping.

-Is there a difference between a Concrete Grinder and a Concrete Prep Tool? Which one will suffice? Will both work or is one recommended over the other?

Thanks,

Yes, you can pre-prep. Just vacuum/blow out the area well before applying your coating.

In our opinion there are big differences between a real diamond floor grinder and the Prep Tool which we are assuming is the Diamabrush. A grinder is heavier and will do a better job grinding and smoothing out. A Diamabrush is more of a lighter duty tool. If you just need to do a light prep, the Diamabrush could work. If you do rent one make sure that the rental place has a GOOD set of blades on them as they wear out fairly quickly on that tool.

Check the blades. The prep tool plus will go 40k sqft. Prep tool 10k and removal tool 2500, approx.

You would be amazed how many pro-installers use this tool with amazing results!!
