Floor Prep

Was told by several people that the floor needs to be roughed up. So would it be better to do a light broom on a fresh poured floor (this weekend) or to slick it smooth?? Wanting to make it easier on this DIYer.

It's really important that you make the choice for what you are going to put on. Our products are really thick... so... a broom finish is a great idea. However, if you were to use a waterbased product or solvent based product... you would want the floor to be smooth because it is going to thin.
