Have a friend that had a battery go thermal on him, and spilled acid all over his floor(unpainted).....acid has been cleaned with baking soda, and rinsed several times. The question is, will the spot where the battery acid was effect/affect the etching process when he goes to do the epoxy?

Thanks!
Todd

I'd probably pour a bit of vinegar over the area first, but odds are that's unnecessary because it's already neutralized enough. It shouldn't have any affect on the etching or eventual coating.
