I need a floor scraper to remove the remnants of some foam backed carpet on concrete. I'm dreading this job so I want to buy the best tool for the job. From my brief online search I found scrapers that look like they have replaceable razor like blades and those that look more like heavy duty ice scrapers. I'm leaning toward the razor type scraper but thought I'd get some opinions from those with experience. Brand names / sources?

by hand can be pretty slow & demanding. Look at renting an Eddy scraper or equivalent.

How big of an area are you doing ? Is it in your house or a job site ?
DIY project in a home. About 600 ft of foam back carpet and carpet pad that was put down with a generous amount of adhesive. Prepping for vinyl plank and tile so I don't think it has to be perfect?? Will check on power scraper rental but really just looking for a scraper recommendation from someone has used different types.
