I am building a pole barn house. I have a 6 inch concrete floor with a 6 mil vapor barrier underneath the concrete with 6 inch gravel base.

Question..... should I put a sealer down on the floor before I begin to build the wall studs and later apply a floor covering?
I am in the central Midwest with lots of summer humidity.....

We always recommend doing the floor last. It allows the floor to fully cure more and more important eliminates the problem of other contractors beating up the floor which they will do.

Also if you seal a floor and then want to epoxy it you need to grind off the sealer for proper adhesion.

Keep in mind sealers can complicate the coatings process.
