The garage is 30X28, the south side sweats real bad sometimes, the north side not at all. Garage is about 50 years old. The south side has a water drain but we never use it and does seem to sweat more by the drain than the rest of that slab.

Question, would blocking off the drain hole help this matter any. One would think in the 35 years i have lived here i would have corrected it by now.

Open for suggestions.

My shop dose this too bad sometimes, I think was built in 06 I'm in the Houston TX area though. The humidity is so bad in this shop my tools rust, and you can't leave metal on the floor because it sweats and rusts it.

Sounds more like the temp difference rom the concrete to the ctual air. Here in nw fl its bad time of thhe year for it. Its most likely the humidity, not moisture from underneath. This time of year the shop floor at work is so wet you'll bust your ***. Looks like a pipe busted some days.
