I had a drain put in my floor when they poured my cement. I am planning on tile on some of it when I can afford it. My question is-when they poured it, they didn't get the grade right. I have a spot about 3 1/2 ft circle that they sloped toward the drain. That drains fine, but I can't possible keep water in that small area when washing cars. Some of the floor runs away from the drain. If I am going to tile this area later, will I be able to just build the thinset up to gain the necessary slope?
