I have a three car garage with one single bay and a double. I have a maxjax in my third bay and plan on leaving that concrete because of welding and other messes....it is basically my work bay.

I am wanting to use some sort of plastic tile or mat for the single bay more for a display area of my 76 2002 Bmw.

If I were to create an island of sorts for that car in that bay, does the edge facing the rest of the garage have a decent transition on those edge pieces you snap in or does it create a tripping point every time you walk from concrete onto the pad?

Has anyone used these tiles in this way or does everyone just tile the entire garage?

Not sure how I missed this post. There are great corners and transition pieces

Hi
We offer edging and transition moldings for our solid PVC industral grade www.supratile.com so you can make a pad if needed. We sell this product a lot for trade show use and they always used edging.
