floor tiles whats with them??

Ok total newb here whats with the floor tiles? I know they deff make the garage floor look good, but what about oil and fluid leaks on to them? Are they easy to clean, does the oil fill in the cracks between each tile and hard to get out??Is floor tile only a decoratie item only?

Also i seen one post below with floor tiles and in floor heating, but there was only one reply, will it still work good with in floor heating from anybody else?

it looks good, its warm on your back in the winter when wrenching and its easy cleanup.

....it installs for well under $1/sq ft. has unlimited colour/patterns and most of us unskilled masses can do the entire project in a weekend.
