I've been reading through the floor forum and have a quote from RaceDeck to cover my 20X24 garage floor.....seems the product and customer service is good. What I am curious about it.....what is it that users don't like about the Racedeck product? I'd really like to know before a invest in the product. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

The cost puts off some people, depending on the size of their garages, but it really depends on your unique application. I love their product but its not for everyone, especially people who would be welding on or near it etc.

Racedeck makes an excellent quality product. Price seams to be the biggest complaint from most people concerning Racedeck but I haven't really heard many complaints about the product itself.

Most complaints heard are about interlocking tiles in general such as; making a clicking noise, dark colors show dust and footprints more, fluids leaking through, dents from jack stands, and etc. But as it is with any flooring product, there are always going to be some sort of issue.

I worked on a similar product in a garage over a weekend. It may have been Racedeck or a competitor's, I don't know. The one thing I didn't like about it was how the tiles would expand in direct sunlight. Tiles in the sun would expand up and create a big bubble where they got hot. One guy walked across the bubble and disconnected a number of tiles. It was a PITA to get them hooked back together again.

Other than that, I thought they were fine.

Walked on Racedecks sister product at Detroit Autorama today. Want it even more now as soon as Darryl sends me my $150 (this is your other brother Darryl-LoL).
