Flooring advice on a budget

I just had half of my garage slab (24 x 20 feets) repoured. The esthetic of the garage was ugly and there was a gigantic cracks. All structural issues have been taken care off.

My budget is now almost maxed out but would like to have a nice floor. I need to do it all myself.
I understand ceramic tiles and any painting would require a lot of prep work. I was thinking about interlocking tiles. Is there a low-cost option that would obviously be low quality but that would still look fine?

Any advice is welcomed !!!

Interlocking tiles are going to be at the high side of costs of material. Our least expensive option is our SPGX one part Polyurea. Figure with tint packs around 65 cents/ sq ft. A good 100% solids epoxy 3-layer system like our www.armorcladepoxy.com will run in the $1.25/ft range.

I'm not selling products and I loved SPGX Polyurea. You can get it in solid colors if you want to really clean up the look of that floor. It's probably the most affordable coating you can get and it's very easy to put down with relatively simple tools. I'd recommend two coats, especially with a tinted color.. but you won't regret it.

Where do I start with the Polyurea? I am from Montreal, temperature from -40 to +40 celsius. Do you ship to Canada? I understand its just like a normal paint? What about prep? Will it support winter tires marks? How much time do I need to wait to apply on the newly poured concrete? Lots of questions thanks!!

We have an Amerian made tile at 2.29 or you could do a single coat of clear polyurea @ 200 sf per gallon pretty inexpensively

What do you do in the garage?

You can get foam anti-fatigue tiles at Harbor Freight for cheap and they will cover and clean up an area on a slim budget. They definitely have downsides if you use a jack (hard to roll) or anything heavy duty (they will tear or burn), etc. but they do make a nice clean surface for parking a car and doing a some quick maint.

I have a couple of sets that I use around the barn to put under work areas to have a catch/anti-mar surface/impact absorption (around my press where large metal items can "pop release" and fall. For like $8.00 for 16 S.F. it's not bad.

The plus side is it doesn't feel cold and is easily replaced.

What do you do in the garage?

This has to be answered before a good solid answer can be given. Other wise your getting recommendations from people that have something to sell you and not necessary what you need for your purpose.
