Have to finish sanding and painting still (has 1 coat of tape/mud).... do I finish painting then epoxy the floors? Or epoxy now and then paint after?

Start at the top and work your way down. If you plan to paint, lighting, sheetrock, the ceiling thats your next step

New shop ? Nothing in it?

I wish I did my floors first.

Too easy to start collecting stuff that gets in the way.

Id do the floors first then cover them with ramboard.

It’s an attached garage, not heated. Moved in, have some junk (but not tons) and cars in the way hah.

Thought I read here that epoxy prep (sanding) made tons of dust. And do that before final painting.

Floors are last. You can touch-up walls if you bump them.
If you grind, get a proper vac to keep you and your house safe.

Your existing shop-vac should handle this with a "Dust Deputy" in between.

We always recommend doing the floors last, that way any tools or other work can’t possibly damage your new floor.
