Flooring from a different perspecitive

We are preparing to move into our new house. Well my wife is preparing for the house, I am preparing for the garage.

I have surfed a good bit through all of the flooring options but did not see my particular question addressed.

Do any of the many options for flooring bode well as being more comfortable under foot (Or backside for that matter).

Secondly, which of the options if any help reduce the noise level (my wire's biggest complaint when I start a new project - mostly classic car stuff)

Race Deck has an industrial tile with shock absorbers built into the bottom of the tile. They also offer some level of noise cancellation.

I have experience with only three floor treatments. One is my buddy's epoxy-treated commercial shop floor. Easy to clean, looks good. Feels decent on the knees and ****, but the underlying concrete is quite smooth and polished, so I don't know whether the epoxy helps.

The second is bare concrete. No description necessary.

The third is Racedeck, and I have a combination of the solid [coin pattern or whatever it is called] and the Freeflow style. I have had this tile floor in place since last summer. I find it to be pretty nice on my knees, back, and **** and my creeper and dollied tools [like table saw] and jacks roll very nicely and actually easier than on my fairly smooth but not polished concrete the Racedeck now covers.

Don't know about any other types or brands of coverings.

the race deck shocks sound like a winner . whats the $ per sf for those. I assume I would want to use them stratigically unless they are cheaper than I anticipate.

How are those of you with composite vinyl feeling about knee and **** comfort?
