I'm doing a very small addition to my garage for strictly storage of motorcycles/dirt bikes. Plan to finish the area and keep it clean of fluids and do all work in the front half. (not on new floor) I'm looking for a flooring option that will keep me at or around $2 a square foot, the area is 15x16. Thanks for any ideas total budget I would like to spend $500-$600

Avoid lumber liquidators if at all possible.

Just do a search on complaints and you will see why they should be avoided.

You have two options that would be practical...vinyl or tile.

Vinyl is easier and cheaper...but not as tough. Tile is tough and is easy to clean.

Some good ideas, I never even thought of hardwood. Also keep in mind I plan on doing the labor so the 500-600 budget is just for materials. Any down falls to having a wood floor in a garage that isn't climate controlled?

Epoxy would be able to accomodate the budget and give great performance.

I was considering epoxy, but a good section of the garage floor has low spots and a deep broom finish, was considering renting a grinder to make it uniform but It looks like that would take grinding 1/4 inch off in spots.... Or maybe some kind of leveling product:headscrat:headscrat

I've been looking at a lot of garage threads here and love the look of racedeck, has anyone had luck buying this at or near $2.00-2.50 sq foot? If so its almost in my floor budget
