What flooring product if any would work best in my soffit.
I want to install a hard wood laminate /engineered or hard wood
In certain areas of my soffit. Entrance and covered patio.
Any experience with this ?

You want some nice, fancy tongue and grove for all the soffits- but think an prefinished engineered floor will work.

It won't.

It is an exterior surface; you are in Colorado. Flooring designed for dry, temperature controlled interior use will not work.

I would use high quality naturally resistant tongue and groove wood, matching other design elements of the home, finish it with an exterior oil/stain/sealer.

Tongue and groove pine -clear coat finish it all sides before install lasts forever and looks great. Bevel the **** joints when installing and touch them up with clear. Metal strip venting goes in as you are installing
