New here, great site I've visited before.

Finally got 50x70' shop built for my hot rod stuff, and the tractor to go in on some property I have outside Houston. Now floor paint decision-size affects it for sure as far as cost. But most every paint I read about needs etching for new concrete. I have no water out there yet so etching and rinsing off the acid is not going to happen a 5 gal jug at a time.

Will any of the products work fairly decent? I've read some about floor hardeners also to help seal it.

I am sure I am going to sound like a broken record here, but we have had amazing response to Rust Bullet for Shops and garages. If it is a true working shop I would go with three coats. We go with 2 in residential and 4 in commercial applications. So long as no sealers are there, no need to etch or grind. This stuff (literally) sticks to glass.

Use promo code RB14 because of the size of the job.

Looks almost like that POR15 paint for chassis for floors. Sticks to anything.

So how much quantity for 3500sq ft?

If you have concrete that has some damage (chipping) from salt , can you pre coat those areas with a few coats to fill in before adding the top coats or is it better to use a different product first ?

Are you able to add a coat or two 5 or 10 years later to freshen it up ?

Are there any clear coats available or is that not recommended ?

If you look at their testing, POR15 is one of their biggest competitors and it does not come close. We will be posting more and more of the videos because it is absolutely amazing.

You are going to need 8.75 gallons per coat. Just multiply that by the number of coats you want to do.

The product can be re-coated at any time after some light sanding. 150 grit sandpaper.

Right now I have a solvent based on epoxy floor and wondering about going over it with something I can touch up if damaged. Can you sprinkle flakes like epoxy? Does rust bullet come I different colors other than gray?

Labor time is always tough to predict. I would plan on three days.

While many coatings 'can' go over previous coatings best practice is to remove prior coating. If you have a beautiful floor over a floor that fails, it will fail with it.
