Getting down to the last aspect of my garage design. That's the color scheme. I'm a big Tony Stewart fan and have access to a few of his old car sheet metal to mount onthe walls and/or ceiling. So I was thinking about an orange/black/white color scheme.

Floor - Black and Orange checkerboard tiles from here - http://www.floortilecloseout.com

Then for the walls. Black from the floor to about 3 - 3.5 feet off the ground. Then an orange stripe about 2 feet wide and around the doors and windows. The rest white to the ceiling. My walls are 12' BTW. And the garage is 40 x 30 with three white 8x8 garage doors.

An alternative to the tile floor would be a med/dark grey ucoatit floor with black/white/orange flakes. And the walls the same.

Is this a little too much ????

My wife has also suggested an orange/blue/white scheme since we are also Florida Gator fans. And those colors won't change like Tony's might down the road.

You might want to wait until you find out what color Tony has on his RICE.

Should be same colors since HD will still be on his car.

And as far as RICE, not a major fan of Toyota but don't hate them. The Camery is more "American made" than any of the other models on the NASCAR circuit.

When it comes to an enthusiasts garage, too much is never enough! The coating colors sound cool, especially since you will have his memorabilia to match the floor. If you are going with an epoxy floor like the UCoat you mentioned, I would recommend really tricking it out with a different color stripe or walkway, or even a Stewie/HD logo or FGators logo in the floor. You can use tape to mask off and paint the stripe or border area, and have the logos made at a sign shop. Or if you are brand loyal, put a bowtie in the floor. There are so many ways to create an interesting and unique area with the floor coating, you should think about it and really go for it! Something as simple as a solid color border surrounding a flaked inside can really set the garage off. Just my opinion but something you may want to consider. Good luck on your project and keep us posted with what you are doing.
