I am in the final stages of planning my garage addition and remodel and I need to decide on flooring. I think I have decided to go with the Moto flooring from Costco.

I am putting a Rotary 2 post lift in the addition. I am assuming that I would anchor the lift to the concrete and then floor around it. Is that correct? Can the Moto tiles be cut, or do I have to live with an opening around the post bases?

Any other ideas?

Yes, you will definitely have to put the flooring in AFTER the lift. I see no reason why you can't cut the tiles to fit them tight up against the lift.

If you're looking for other ideas, there's always epoxy.

I recently installed the Moto Floor from Costco. The tiles can be cut easily with a jig saw using a fine blade. I had to cut 4 tiles in a circular shape to fit around a water softner unit in the garage. I made a template out of the cardboard shipping carton and it turned out perfectly. Good luck and I am sure you will like the finished results.
