Looking for ideas/suggestion as far as flooring for my mezzanine in my pole barn. Only used for storage (mostly bins) but I would like to keep it under 1/2 in thickness or headroom becomes an issue. Hopefully something I can DIY, I may do the main floor with Polyurea but I would contract it out.IMG_1193.JPEGIMG_1192.JPEG

What's the budget for this? Do you want something decorative or just something to protect the wood? Interlocking garage tiles are a great option, but they are more expensive than simply painting the wood. They are easy to install, and most are 1/2" thick. However, Nitro offers a 3/8" thick alternative. You can check out our list of top vendors with the best pricing here.

Id like to stay at around $2-2.50 a square foot, I kinda blew the budget when I built this place already
I'll look into these a little closer----thanks

Sand it and poly it. (Or put some nicer 1/2 ply on top, and sand and polyurethane that.)

Probably going to get my head handed to me but I might consider a long LVT tile for that space. Cheap, weather resistant, easier to keep clean and will look decent even if its just for storage. Looks great BTW. Good luck.
