Anyone know anything about the tile sold by Floorjunkies.com? Looks like Motofloor, except is available in more colors, and its priced right ($2.00 sq. ft.). I didn't pay much attention to Motofloor because I don't want white or anything as dark as their charcoal.

Spacepig, I would definitely get a sample from them before ordering. A few of the tiles I got samples from were extremely disappointing. I did not get one of the Floor Junkies tiles since I was told they were very similar to the Greg Smith plastic, which was a bit too shiny for me.
I'm really glad I got all the different samples and left them down on the garage floor for a week or so before making my decision. What I thought was my favorite at first glance ended up not being at the top of my list when all was said and done.

Good point about the samples. Think I'm going to skip the Floorjunkies; I think its the same stuff as at Sam's Club that some posts were griping about. Given my price constraints, I think I'm down to the bigfoot or the Daytona (with some kind of underlayment for noise reduction).

I would absolutely get a sample. I would bet that it is a China import similar to Sam's and Bigfoot. They also say you need double sided tape for install? It also looks like it is thinner.
It sounds risky to go with an unknown for a few bucks less in your prized garage?

DO NOT BUY CHEAP FLOOR TILES!!!!!! Come on guys think about it, this is a floor to park your vehicles on not something for the laundry room. Cheap tiles, roll out mats or whatever will only cause frustration and leave you with an empty wallet. Believe me I know!

For all you Canadian's: Canadian Tire started to sell an interlocking floor tile, standard 12" in grey only. I was in the store one day and opened up a box, layed a few tiles on the ground and snapped them together. The material seemd very brittle, they weighed next to nothing and were kind of thin - but they were cheap. Anyways I started to seperate them as I have done with my Race Deck and every loop snapped off at the same time, not once but three times! While I was making this mess a store manager saw me and asked if I planned on paying for what I had broken. I said sure but only if you can seperate these without breaking them. Well he broke two more, then said maybe they are not supposed to come appart!

Hello everyone:
I recently found copolymer hard plastic floor tiles and did my garage floor with them. They are sold by a distributor in Houston Texas, shipped via Fed Ex and you receive them within 3 days after placing your order. If you order 400 square feet or more, shipping is free. The tiles are 12 inches square and fit together with locking tabs. I have attached a couple of pictures of my garage floor so you can see what it looks like.

These tiles come in several colors. I chose black & gray, but other colors are available. It looks great and won't peel, crack or chip like painted concrete. These tiles are durable and chemical resistant and they hide any cracks or stains that might be on your garage floor. They are not shinny they are matt.

Take a look at the attached pictures. You can get more information at Floorjunkies.com If you call them with your floor dimensions, they will email you a grid showing the layout and tell you how many tiles you will need. Each box contains 40 tiles.

Just thought I'd pass this along to you folks...... I do suggest you get some samples as it is always a prudent thing to do.
Thanx,
Mel

Good to know. I'll be in the market to tile my garage in the next few months. I had seen these tiles online and wondered if they were worth bothering with. Looks like I'll get mine from Costco. With thier return policy you really can't go wrong.
Thanks
