I have had a 13" MAC Axis flexhead ratchet for about six months now. It is a nice ratchet but the head does not stay tight, all they use to keep tension on the head is a crappy little spring washer. About every other month I have to remove the head and bend the washer to give it more tension. It would have been nice if they used a round spring like SO. Has anyone come up with a better method to keep this head tight?

Contact Smalley wave steel spring co. They may even send you a free sample, if it works, contact MAC and they may even call for that instead of the original.
