Florescent light fixture string switch

After prob 40 years the string finally gave out. Is there away to attach another string? If not where can I get one of these switches.

The switch is toast, replacements are sold at the big box stores but they are all ChiCom so do not expect much from them.

OK great. Thanks so much. I will go to a local hardware store and maybe they will have some new old stock of a better quality than Home Depot.

40 years of service is admirable.
Are you still running the original 40 year old magnetic ballasts?
Members with electronic ones that **** out after 2 years might be jealous.
Are you considering upgrading to LED? (probably not)
Do you have a good supply of t12 tubes? I have heard that they are no longer being manufactured.

Yes, original ballast and you are correct about the others crapping out. I got a little over a year from a fixture I bought at home depot for above my work bench.
I just got some nos t12 tubes for free at an estate sale a few months back. Original sticker on them is $1.49 each.
