Sorry, I don't have a lot of experience with maintenance and repair on florescent lighting.
I have two 48" 4-tube fixtures in my garage. They were installed in 2002. Lately, they've been slow to start up. I pulled the diffusers and realized two of the tubes in each fixture were dead. I replaced all the tubes and now only one tube out of 8 works. Do I need new ballasts or should I just buy new fixtures. I haven't priced them, but I have a feeling that new fixtures will cost little more than new ballasts and would solve all the problems.
Thanks.
