You know, sometimes the instructions that are included with an item can make it well worth the added cost over a rebranded 'identical' part.

I tried finding an electric pump about a year ago. Wanted something that would hold about a gallon, and be low profile enough to fit under a car on jack stands. Something that would be good for filling (or draining) differentials and transfer cases. Wanted it to run off of a wall outlet (so as not to need a battery close by for the alligator clips) and run off a toggle switch. Even looked into a used flush machine, but those things are insanely expensive. Never did find anything close. I was even willing to build a tank, if I could just find a pump that fit the bill.

Build a tank, just be sure it has a sight glass ! 2 *******. One for a hose going to what you want to **** out, second one to an A/C vacuum pump. You might even want to add a second see through plastic tank so you have a more than a second before you have to turn off the vacuum pump before it ingests the liquid.

Mity-Vac hand vacuum pump give you a small container for suction bleeding brakes, but it only holds a couple of ounces. Size your container according to your needs.

Ending up getting the Mityvac MVA6851. It seems well built. How do I remove the hose?
