Amazon is NOT the same as eBay.
Both websites have third party sellers..... only one website actually sells products AS the seller on it's own website (Amazon)
You really can NOT verify anything just be looking at the seller's name on eBay because anyone can create an account with ANY name they can think of. I could go on eBay RIGHT NOW and create a seller account called "Authorized FLUKE Seller" (or similar) and that name would be 100% false and misleading. Nobody at eBay is going to verify if I am authorized to sell FLUKE products.... or anything else.
I see no advantage to buying readily available items on eBay. If a FLUKE item is indeed being sold by an authorized seller on eBay, then that same product is most likely also available on Amazon (also from an authorized dealer) for roughly the same price. If that item is much cheaper on eBay, then there is probably a good chance the item is fake, bought/returned, refurbished, blemish, seconds, etc.... Remember, if it's too good to be true, then it usually is. AND, Amazon usually offers 100% free returns on almost every item it sells. Why take the chance with eBay? If you buy from AMAZON, or at least SHIPPED by Amazon, you really have nothing to worry about. If you're not 100% happy with the item, you simply drop it off at either a UPS store, Kohls store, or Whole Foods location, etc... Most of the time you don't even need to re-pack the item, they'll even do that for you.
And lastly, if you have a prime membership, the deal is even better because you're not paying for shipping.
(yes, you pay for the Prime membership. but most people who have Prime actually SAVE money every year because they place enough orders with Amazon to make Prime worth it for them)
