Flush Mount BendPak SP-7X Info Needed

Need help from those who have flush mounted the above lift. I have the U shaped pit dimensions from BendPak, but once you have that, how do you get the lift lowered into it without tweaking the torsion bar? There isn't alot of room around the edges if I pour the pit per their dimensions and BendPak can't tell me.

Also, I've got some concerns about water dripping in and rusting it. Has anyone addressed that issue?

What tips can you guys provide? Is there a better lift than this one? 6' of lift is desired. It would be nice to be able to lift my Ram 2500, but this one won't.

You could always make a dry well with a drain at the pit - not much water will get in there and the drywell should take care of it. That is what I am planning to do when I get my in-floor scissor lift.
