The hair keeps coming off.

It is very time consuming to make sure there is no hair stuck on there before soldering.

So my question for you guys, can I wear a nitrite glove to apply the flux with my fingers? It won't melt the glove right?

I buy those flux brushes from Harbor Freight .. I put a extra crimp on it and have never had the brushes come out. One of the few items I buy there ... :)

how do you put a crimp on it? You mean squeeze it with a vise?

Can an artist paint brush work too? it is also horse hair and I have not really seen it lose hair.

Gloves will work. But then you have to take the glove off or get it all over the place. Go buy a real paintbrush or use artists ones.

That's the whole reason I don't buy them from Harbor Freight is because the bristles fall out. If you have some way of preventing that with a special crimp, I'm all ears.

I am thinking the HDX brush that I got at Home Depot is just the same brush on amazon or HF. I will try a squeeze and a wrap of tape
