Does anyone use a foam cannon with their pressure washer? I am interested in getting one. Main use is washing equipment so would like one that shoots long range some equipment is 15ft plus high. Lots of choices on amazon and eBay but how do I select a durable one?

I bought one of the cheap ones on Amazon, came with a gun, and the cannon. Works great, use it a couple of times a week washing cars. Distance seems to be about 10-12' although I haven't tested it. Realize it is just dispensing the cleaning product, there really isn't enough pressure to blast dirt off.

Yep, I use mine quite frequently for washing vehicles. As long as it has a good brass body, you should be fine. I bought mine locally from a Mennonite shop that only deals in pressure washers. In looking at them on-line and the amount of foam it puts out, the only one that looks identical to mine is the one from Chemical Guys, which is one of the more expensive ones. I'd try one of the lower priced options to see how it does. Mine is 8 or 9 years old now and still going strong though.

I use the pressure washer foam cannon from Slick Products as well as their offroad wash. It works great. A lot of adjustments for amount of soap and spray pattern. They also make a garden hose attachment version but I have not tried it.

I use the MTM PF22.2 which is supposed to be the best on the market. It's finicky. It got plugged the first time I used it. After soaking the filter (really an agitator) in CLR it has worked well.

Good foam depends on your cannon, pressure washer, soap, and water quality. Among those four things, I think the particular cannon is the least important.

Someone gave me one I never used. I rarely use soap and when I do I put it on with a pump weed sprayer. It probably does help with road grime, cold wash doesnt remove stain that well. My neighbor comes over to wash on occasion, he washes cold and has a bucket with a brush he then soaps and brushes light. It works well enough but I wash quite a few cars, use hot to cut bugs and grime in the summer and ice/salt in the winter.
Use hot on equipment to cut oil and grease. Moved the air reel inside. Disconnect the wand in the winter.

From what I understand a big part of the equation is the gpm your pressure washer puts out as well.
