Foam Cannon To Pressure Washer Connection Help

I just purchased a very inexpensive foam cannon to use for washing my vehicles. I got it on Amazon...I can't remember the brand but it has "star" in the name.

Anyway, it has a 1/4" quick-connect fitting. I sort of assumed that this was something that my pressure washer already was setup to handle, but I think I am wrong about that. I don't see how to connect the foam cannon to the sprayer handle/wand. Can you guys explain what I need to buy to do this?

The pressure washer is just a little "Snap-on" branded electric model, probably something my dad bought at Costco.

I can provide pictures of that will be helpful.

Thanks very much.

I suspect for it to work with your pressure washer, the wand needs to be the style that takes different tips for spray patterns, versus the adjustable tip. I recently purchased a foam cannon (chemical guys) that runs off the garden hose, Seems to good job.

Amazon has the foam cannons that come with their own small pressure washer gun for like 5-10 dollars more than the ones without . If its not too late to return it that would likely be the cheapest way

Double check but good chance if you remove your wand entirely it matches that fitting. For quick back and forth you could add a quick disconnect on both wands

Orrr if your wand splits halfway down the shaft you can check and see if its the same m22 fitting as at the hose and then get one of these

Take the end off your pressure washer hose and take a pic. On those cheapies (and I have one too) it's usually push in, twist 90 degrees and pull. I think I have a reference on Amazon for what you need, but I need pics.

I certainly wish at this point that I did buy the model that has the gun already included. I also still can return this one if that seems the best choice. It was missing the vinyl suction hose that goes inside the bottle! I cut a piece of silicone vacuum line to use in place of it.

Here are some pics of my gun. I really can't see how to disassemble the sections of it.

Second photo looks to be the m22 connector should be able to spinner to the left and put the m22 / quick connector in the 2nd link i posted.

If you get a male and female set you can put the male on the tip part of the wand you unscrew and then your foam cannon and original tip of the wand will both quick connect on

If it doesn't unscrew there or it isn't the m22 fittings then you'd likely be better off returning and purchasing the one that comes with the gun & get quick connects for both it and your original gun

Here is where I am at after undoing that connection.

I have probably damaged the plastic gun by being an ape and applying forces to parts before I knew how/if they came apart.

Lots of white powder inside this connection. Minerals in the water, maybe?

I am not really sure what good it is? As far as I know its an opportunity for washer people to sell work that cost a little for a lot. A simple garden weed sprayer with some car wash soap does about the same,,, pressure wash and then a clean brush with a little mix is the best way to really clean.
Its simply a way to **** a lot of extra soap thru making suds which makes it look impressive. Some of them connect to air for the application, got one someone gave me and still havnt used.
