I think that yoga mat material makes an excellent drawer liner, but not sure that it would work as an organizer given how thin it is. This type of foam is what you are looking for I believe.

I use the foam anti-fatigue mats that Harbor Freight sells-


For compartments, I use plastic Schaller boxes. The have a drawer organizer application on their website that's pretty handy.


You can mix them together too-
