foam spraying around air boots/registers safe?

Is it safe to foam spray around the air boots/registers to keep cold air draft out? Just bought cans of fire retardant Touch n' Seal foam gun II and want to make sure its safe because I'm not sure if it'll emit toxic fume when it gets too warm.

I imagine it would be OK, but contact the manufacturer and see what they say.

I seriously doubt that fire retardant foam would kill you if it got hot. That would almost defeat the entire purpose of using it.......

Air boots, registers, and boiler pipes are fine to foam around. Furnace/boiler exhaust pipes, not so much.

I doubt they get as "hot" as you think they do.
