Foam Staple Spacing Advice

For those of you who have used the foam staples, how far apart did you space them (typically). I am about to place an order for 3000 feet of 1/2" pex, and I am planning to use the PEX staples to staple it down to the foamboard. The spacing has a big impact on how many staples I am going to buy, and they are not the cheapest things in the world. Thanks for the advice. -John

I stapled my pex about 18" on center. You don't want it lifting or moving around during your pour. Also, buy extras because the gun sometimes jams up or spits out an extra.

Approx. every 2-3ft is sufficient, you'll use more in the turns to get it stuck down the way you want.
