I'm at menards and can't figure out which to get. I'm guessing foamular is better based on price. Pros and coins of each? Thank you

In general EPS is white and it is a 'type' of Styrofoam, basically. Its expanded vs extruded polystyrene, and not owned by Dow.

I'd suggest researching this a bit before you go to buy. There are lots of different types of EPS, and some are not good for underslab use.

EPS = Expanded Poly Styrene
XPS = Extruded Poly Styrene

Both are rated for underslab use unless the particular prodcut is labeled as NOT for underslab use. Lot of bogus wife's tales that you must use one or the other. Since EPS is so much cheaper people assume it must not be as good and for certain applications, I prefer XPS. Underslab insulation, due to cost, EPS is superior.

So do you think this EPS 1 1/2'' R-6 rated would be enough for my little shop? Just to keep it a little cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter? Or do I need something else? And can I just push this up against the tin with housewrap on the interior side? Or does house wrap go on the exterior side? Thanks.
