Fold down wall table

I needed some more work space so I decided to build a fold down table attached to the wall. I have seen some examples in threads on here but I decided to use my own idea. Table is made out of 1" square tube with a 5/8" ply top. The legs fit into a small piece of 1.25" tube with a bolt to hold them in place. I welded a nut into the end of the tube for some adjustable feet since my floor is not level at all. I have been teaching myself to TIG weld so I mixed a little TIG into the project.

nice design. Do you have a cross support for the plywood?
Also do you plan to secure those bottles to the wall?

Ya there is another piece of 1x1 tubing welded in the center to support the plywood. No, I wasn't planning on it. If I am not using them for an extended period of time I usually take the regulators off and screw the cap on.

Cool table, I like the idea. How do you have the table hinging at the wall? Did you consider having the legs fold out instead of bolt on? Looks like a solid rig, I may use this idea

Nice.

Big vise, grinder, welding curtain, white board, check. :D

But a +3 on putting some sort of 'restraint' for the gas cylinders to keep them from tipping over. Could just be as simple as putting two 'hooks' into the wall right behind them and putting some chain or rope/strap between the two wall hooks to keep the cylinders from tipping over.

I thought about having the legs fold out but I couldn't think of a good way to lock them in place. I figure the table is going to be in use more than it will be folded up so it's not a huge deal having to remove the legs. They sit nicely on top of the table when it's folded anyways.

It seems like the general consensus is to do something about the tanks. I will come up with something in the next few days and report back.

Like I said, doesn't have to be a big deal. Two eye hooks into the wall and some chain between them to keep a tank from tipping over.
