Footprint Chisels on Woot

Woot currently has an assortment of Footprint brand chisels for good prices. From what I've been able to find they appear to be quality chisels made in England. As always with Woot, shipping is a flat fee of $5 so it isn't such a good deal if you only need one. If you buy a few or combine your order with something else though it's worth it.

Yeah, they're 'cold' chisels i.e. for metal work. These are not wood chisels.

Not a bad price but I'm not familiar with the brand. May have to try a couple. Dasco's are easy to come by and have worked well enough for me for the most part.

I've been on the fence on these. About half are gone now.

I figured I'd get a few to check them out. Ordered a 7", 9", and 12" to get three assorted. With the 5 bucks shipping, the order was less than 20 bucks.

I usually get Mayhew, but these seem similar in quality, so why not check out a few.

If anyone wants these, now is the time, because they are getting picked through and only a few different size chisels left.

It seems "Cold Chisels" means something different depending on what side of the pond you are on. Cold Chisels in the UK must mean for brick/stone/masonry work, not metal work. So keep that in mind, these are Masonry chisels, not Metal chisels.
