I sure get a lot of HF coupons emailed to me. It seems like I get some every two or three days.

Meanwhile, they're likely selling your name, address, and phone # to countless other retailers at $6 or more a shot. I stopped giving my ph # to retail stores 3-4 yrs ago (many, including HF, ask for such at every purchase) . We're now receiving a very noticeable decrease in junk mail. Btw, I pay cash whenever possible.

Seems unlikely, as I don't get these types of mailings or phone calls, only unrelated scammers or political/charity for the phone calls.

Then again I don't get any HF promotions emailed to me either, must have opted out of that, nor any emails that look like they're from any legit business that would have interest in a HF email list.

Besides, if they wanted to sneak in fine print that declares you are subject to having info sold, that could apply to anywhere you order online too, where they kinda NEED to have at least your name and address to deliver goods. I still don't see the issue, junk mail can just be addressed to "current resident" and street addresses are public record.
